What are trading hours

Trading hours refer to the specific time intervals during which trading can take place within any financial market. These hours can vary based on several factors, including the type of asset and even the season. While trading hours are generally consistent for each broker, it’s always better to check them. Understanding trading hours is crucial for traders as it directly affects when it is possible to open, execute, or close trades as part of your trading strategy.

Elirox and trading hours

It’s important to note that Elirox does not determine or influence trading hours. Elirox depends fully on the trading hours set by the broker you’ve chosen. For instance, if you’re managing your Exness trading broker account, Elirox will adhere to the trading hours specified by Exness.

💡 The only trading hours that differ from those of brokers apply to our internal demo account.

Demo trading hours in Elirox

  • Currency Pairs (excluding cryptocurrencies and stocks):Trading is available 24/5, starting at 12:00 a.m. on Monday and closing at 11:59 p.m. on Friday (server time: EET/EST).
  • Cryptocurrency Trading:Available 24/7.
  • Stock Trading:Availability depends on the trading hours of the exchange to which the stock belongs.
  • Server Maintenance Periods:Trading is unavailable during the following times:
    • Saturday: 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. (server time: EET/EST).
    • Sunday: 3:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. (server time: EET/EST).
